gSource dermal surgical curettes are crafted from high-quality German surgical stainless steel and are ideal for scraping or cutting biological tissue and debris in a cleaning procedure, excision or biopsy. Our surgical curettement tools are available in single- or double-ended (DE) patterns with sharp cups on working ends in round or oval shapes, with or without holes in cups.

Comedone extractors remove comedones like whiteheads and blackheads and other acne blemishes from the skin. gSource has many comedone extractors in our inventory:

Saalfeld comedone extractor: A Saalfeld extractor removes sebaceous content from blackheads and pimples without hurting the patient’s skin. The DE style allows dermatologists to use one tool in multiple ways. The fenestrated cup isolates the spot, and the pointed blade removes residue to prevent infection.
Schamberg comedone extractor: A Schamberg comedone extractor removes blackheads, whiteheads and other acne blemishes. This tool helps dermatologists treat their patients’ skin concerns without damaging the surrounding tissues. Each end of the tool has a different-sized loop for various procedures.
Unna comedone extractor: The Unna comedone extractor uses oval spoon-shaped ends to remove blackheads and other comedones from the skin. As a DE tool, this option lets you use either end during the procedure based on the blemish size.
Walton comedone extractor: A Walton extractor treats facial blemishes. Both ends of the tool have oval spoons to remove the contents of comedones.

A fox curette is used in dermatology to scrape skin growths, cancer and warts. The circular end has a sharp edge with a hole in the center to remove the skin and get a sample.

A house stapes curette scrapes and removes bones that have grown excessively. Ear, nose and throat specialists use these curettes to reach the inner ear during surgery. House stapes curettes are available in many lengths, tip diameters and angles.

Podiatrists use ingrown nail shavers to cut away parts of ingrown nails. The shaver features a 5-inch fenestrated blade. The inner edge can cut and file nails of any thickness.

A Keyes dermal punch tool obtains biopsy samples from cartilage. The open ring head punches a hole through cartilage, with the diameter of the head determining the sample size. All our Keyes punch tools have a 4-inch handle to help you grasp the sample.

Piffard dermal curettes scrape excess lesions and growths on the skin’s surface. The tip has an oval-shaped cutting edge to rub over the skin. Dermatologists can use a Piffard curette to treat a patient’s skin condition or obtain a sample for testing and analysis. We offer various head sizes that you can use based on the size of the growth or lesion.
